What do you do in your current role?
I operate two different cold forging machines. The first produces between 25,000 and 30,000 M5, M6 and M8 size fasteners per day. The second produces around 40,000 M3 and M4 size fasteners each day. I calibrate the machines depending on the different product specifications on my order list.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy working day shifts and the flex time we have at BUMAX makes the job fit around my personal life. We have great colleagues that support each other and a really good working environment.
How have you developed at BUMAX?
I have previously worked with motors and pumps and have always really enjoyed working with machines. BUMAX has given me opportunities to further develop my knowledge and skills.
What do you think is the best thing about working at BUMAX?
It is great working with experienced and competent colleagues who are always there to help each other if needed. I also like the feeling of creating something that is needed in society – such as high-quality fasteners for critical applications.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy walking in the nature and traveling, for example to Turkey and Iraq.
