Hi Kristina. What do you do in your current role?
In the laboratory, I test two items from each product batch to ensure they meet our high-quality standards. I mainly conduct two types of test – spectrometer tests to verify the steel composition and strength tests – although I do other tests depending on the product and its requirements. I perform around 7,500 tests each year.
What do you like most about your job?
I like that I have a lot of freedom to develop my own routines here in the lab. I also find my work with different types of steel and data really interesting – the more you learn, the more interesting it is.
How have you developed at BUMAX?
I worked in Quality Control before I started as a Laboratory Assistant. I learned the job from the former Laboratory Assistant before she retired. In the future, I would like to further develop my competence and maybe become a BUMAX sales representative.
What do you think are the best things about working at BUMAX?
BUMAX is a great employer that provides me with a great deal of freedom and responsibility in my roll.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I spend time with my family and enjoy working with horses.
